Dr. Mukherjee's primary research encompasses a rigorous exploration of fluid dynamics at its most fundamental junctures. His focus of study resides within the intricate domain of interfacial dynamics between liquid and vapor phases, with an emphasis on the quantitative amalgamation of numerical simulations and empirical investigations. This finds direct application in multiple areas of exploration including, but not limited to, the convoluted intricacies of boiling phenomena, condensation kinetics, combustion kinetics, and the intricate convolutions characterizing multiphase flows.
